• Active NM or compact license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates who are aware of their submission to our facility.

  • Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
  • When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
  • Traveler must not permanently reside within a 75 mile radius from the facility.
  • 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
  • Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
  • SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit.
    • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
    • Traveler must provide or pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia Assessment (BCA) exam prior to or during the first week of assignment.
    • Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour Night shift position - start time 1900.
      • 3 Weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period.
      • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
      • On call, weekends and holidays may be required.
      • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location and to all areas for which they are trained, including the ED and alternate holding areas.
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
        • Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations.
