• Provide veterinary medical care to a variety of animal species including diagnosis, disease treatment, preventive medicine, health monitoring, and quarantine
• Research support for GLP and non-GLP studies for both USDA-covered and non-covered species
• Manage clinical components of studies
• Provide animal model guidance and protocol development
• Veterinary reviews
• May serve as study director for certain research
• Train veterinary and research personnelRequired Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or ECFVG foreign equivalency certification
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the US
  • 1 Year post-graduate clinical experience with laboratory animals in research setting
  • Ability to comply with USDA, Animal Welfare Act, NIH Public Health Service Policy, DEA regulations, amongst other governing regulations
