Job Description:
CompHealth is assisting a hospital in New Mexico with their
search for an acute rehab hospitalist. They need assistance while
opening a new practice to bring in in-house patient internal
medicine physicians to treat patients. They are looking for an
internal medicine physician with hospitalist or post-acute care
experience in the area. The schedule is Monday - Friday with
flexible and autonomous hours. There will be shared weekend call.
You will see an average of 15 patients per day. Candidates can be
board certified or board eligible in internal medicine. CompHealth
has a dedicated licensing team that can help you obtain a New
Mexico medical license, if necessary. For this permanent position,
you will be an independent contractor and paid on a 1099 basis.
There is a sign-on bonus of $25K, and relocation assistance of $10K
with receipts. Come live and practice in this historic and
