Cardiology opening in Albuquerque, New Mexico. General Cardiologist Opportunity - Santa Fe, NM As part of Lovelace Medical Group, New Mexico Heart Institute comprises a team of exceptional cardiologists, invasive/interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgeons including a team of 5 in Santa Fe New Mexico. This location is 45 minutes north of the New Mexico Heart Institute s HUB at the Heart Hospital at Lovelace Medical Center. The New Mexico Heart Institute provides high quality cutting edge vascular and cardiovascular care. We are looking for a talented and dedicated Cardiologist to join one of the most sophisticated cardiology programs in the southwest.

Job Summary:
Prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system
-Read Nuclear Heart Scans
-Provide care to patients with heart failure
Collaborate with other providers across the health system departments to provide a treatment plan catered to patient s needs.
Provide clinical care to patients in accordance with regulations to include but not limited to obtaining patient history, ordering labs, diagnostic studies, and arranging referrals.
Communicate effectively with medical staff in coordinated care.
Uphold excellent bedside manners and ability to create a great patient experience.
Advise patients concerning aliments related to the heart health.
Attends departmental meetings and professional training sessions as requested.
Adherence and knowledge of laws to internal medicine, including HIPAA.

Position Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
Ability to obtain a professional license in the State of NM
Basic Life Support Certification & Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
DEA certificate and NM Board of Pharmacy Certificate
