  Patient Diagnoses: Patient care assignments include adult and geriatric age groups. Diagnoses include depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ASD, TBI, neurocognitive disorders
  Special Procedures/Unit Details: We have two adult units and one geriatric unit. Each unit holds 16 patients and is divided into two teams (8 patients per RN). Each team has a nurse, therapist, case manager, psychiatry resident, and psychiatry attending. In total, each unit is staffed with 2 nurses and 2 MHTs (4:1 staff ratio). Group activities are conducted by nursing, MHTs, therapists, OT, and peer support. MHTs transport patients to court in the building. Patients requiring transfer to the main hospital for medical needs (x-ray, appointments, ER) are transported by MHTs
