BEHAVIORAL HEALTH EDUCATOR RN

In this role you will assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate
clinical and non-clinical educational programs for HSC Operational
Components. You will identify
educational needs, practice gaps and issues of staff by collecting
data and related information, and
issues, trends, and supporting evidence to determine needs of
individuals, departments, and the organization. You will develop
instructional program(s), in collaboration with others and based on
identified learning needs, that prescribe(s) education curricula,
strategies, alternatives, and resources; take into account quality
indicators and policies, procedures, guidelines; integrate research
findings into plan.
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing;
Master's in related field or MSN required w/in 36 months of
3 years directly related experience; behavioral
clinical experience required, teaching experience preferred
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in State of New Mexico or as allowed
by reciprocal agreement by State of New Mexico
CPR Certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or for Professional
Rescuers or must obtain within 30 calendar days of date of
Instructor Certification for age appropriate CPR or ALS or ILS
within 6 months of position
