Responsibilities include financial forecasting, decision support, business planning, research coordination, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and county regulations, as well as healthcare standards such as NCCHC and ACA. No direct patient care involved.Detailed responsibilities:* Direct departmental activities* Develop operational plans* Participate in strategic planning* Implement strategic initiatives and monitor projects* Collaborate with medical staff and manage subcontractor relationships* Oversee contracts and agreements* Monitor and evaluate service activities and performance metrics* Provide consultation to administration* Oversee utilization management and budgeting* Coordinate research projects and ensure compliance* Represent the hospital on community committees* Interface with legal and regulatory parties* Develop policies and evaluate service delivery methodsQualificationsEducation:Essential: Bachelor's DegreeNonessential: Master's DegreeSpecialization: Related Discipline (both essential and nonessential)Experience:Essential: 5 years of related experienceNonessential: No preferred experienceCredentials:Essential: MDC ClearancePhysical Conditions:Sedentary work involving minimal physical exertion, primarily sitting, with occasional walking or standing.Working Conditions:* Risk of physical injury due to working with potentially combative patients* Proximity to incarcerated individuals* Possible security clearance requirements
