retail construction processes and playbook development. This
virtual based position will be part of an exciting, fast moving and

cross-functionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, across the
entire business.

Key Job Responsibilities
Works with business leaders to create policies and execute
initiatives in regards to organization, technology, reporting and
process improvements.
Develop, standardize and maintain construction SOP processes,
protocols, playbooks, checklists, templates, approval processes,
critical timelines and other construction management
documentation.
Champion continuous quality improvement and implementation of best
practices to maximize efficiency for construction managers and
overall development team.
Lead cross functional team collaboration efforts; manage
expectations, timelines and deliverables through coordination
across project team resources.
Lead efforts and initiatives to identify and minimize pain points,
improve cross functional team communication and drive
accountability across the development team.
Work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners,
both internally and externally, to overcome obstacles and deliver
results.
Deep dive project schedules, change orders and other budget issues
to drive improved efficiency for the program.
Execute special projects and initiatives as requested by
leadership.
Perform all responsibilities in a fast paced, constantly evolving
environment.
Participate in the development process to collaborate and value
engineer construction methods to reduce time and cost.
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree from accredited university.
10+ years of experience in grocery land development or construction
management, demonstrating progressive responsibility and growth
within the industry.
experience successfully managing priorities and resources for
customer experience driven teams.
Strong project management and preconstruction/construction
experience in multiple building types and locations; thorough
knowledge of construction process life cycle.
Familiarity with business process documentation, reporting and
program management tools.
Strong organizational skills, business acumen and adept at
multi-tasking.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with a
strongability to communicate clearly, effectively and
professionally; demonstrated experience engaging and influencing
key stakeholders.
Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering
results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Applications Word, Excel, Outlook, and
Microsoft Project.
Experience developing and managing budgets, schedules and
negotiating scopes of work.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
responsibilities.
Self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively
within a team.
Demonstrates willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing
work environment; deals effectively with varying workload
requirements; can shift gears comfortably, manages competing
demands, delays or unexpected events.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with Smartsheet, Procore, Salesforce and similar real
estate, project and portfolio management tools.
Bachelor's degree in facility or construction management,
architecture, engineering or business related field.
Ability to work independently while maintaining all deadlines and
critical date obligations.
Ability to discern and facilitate critical path forward amongst
competing priorities and objectives.
Ability to solve problems creatively by using available metrics to
identify issues and to make recommendations on go forward
strategies.
