segment of the energy industry! The Senior Revenue Management
Analyst Position
The position for the Senior Revenue Management Analyst is part of
the Revenue Management team. The Revenue Management is comprised of
the billing, payment processing, collections and credit/
under-writing functions. This position will positively impact
revenue and margins by driving an efficient and accurate revenue
life cycle, and supporting the business by researching and
validating revenue, finance, and billing data. This role is charged
with streamlining and expanding upon current structures in place by
defining, documenting, implementing, and measuring both manual and
automated processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and
analysis.
Senior Revenue Management Analyst Responsibilities
Develops and implements controls and reporting often starting with
a non-standard and manual pilot; then upon commensurate success,
developing and implementing into a repeatable and documented
process
Conducts analysis of all solar system production for billing and
production guarantee purposes (Production Database, Billing Super
Table, and CRM) to ensure complete and accurate data and accurate
bills to customers
Creates/defines processes to measure billing accuracy, timeliness,
and success for custom products
Prepares billing and financial reporting and analysis for the
revenue management team; including but not limited to: billed v
collected, accruals v actuals, payment processor fees and account
receivable analysis
Coordinates and work directly with cross functional teams to
analyze and adjust processes and functionality to ensure that
billing information is accurate, and the process is efficient.
Eliminates processes that lead to wastage of time and resources and
improve time and cost effectiveness of the system
Maintains a weekly prioritized list of defects, user stories and
projects for the revenue management organization.
Assists in gathering requirements and QA testing for new
development on projects designed to improve billing, customer
experience, reporting, data and sales center performance.
Proactively identifies and resolves existing and potential future
billing and account issues in a timely and accurately fashion by
displaying an acute attention to detail.
Performs other ad hoc analysis as required
As needed: assists with project planning, testing, and
implementation of automated processes to assist with data and
analysis
Supports collections and billing teams with early true up and
production ratios as needed
Supports financing, month end close, and other critical tasks as
necessary
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
7-10 years documented success in financial analysis and
reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High degree of attention to detail and sense of urgency in
completing projects and analysis
Ability to shift between high profile projects and analysis
Ability to provide detailed analysis and independent
recommendations on process changes, automation, and project
implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce experience preferred
Experience with Python Coding is strongly preferred
Experience with SQL & SOQL is strongly preferred
Experience with Tableau is preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Extremely high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Expert experience with other Microsoft Office products (Visio,
Excel, Word)
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Working Conditions
