Controls Project Engineer Position Overview The Controls Project
Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
overseeing control systems for HVAC and building automation
projects. This role involves collaborating with clients and team
members to ensure that project specifications are met and that
systems are efficient and effective. Key Responsibilities Design
and implement control systems for HVAC and Building Automation
Systems (BAS). Collaborate with project managers, clients, and
contractors to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct system
testing and commissioning to verify performance and compliance with
specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control
systems and HVAC equipment. Provide technical support and training
to customers and staff regarding control systems operation. Prepare
project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and user
manuals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven
experience in controls engineering, particularly with HVAC and
Building Automation Systems. Familiarity with Distech, Automated
Logic Controls (ALC), and other BAS technologies. Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as
part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and
