Our New Mexico Operations team is growing and we're looking to fill
dozens of positions in global security, engineering, project
management, manufacturing, informational technology, and more.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops concepts and designs layouts of complex mechanical or
electrical equipment, parts, and assemblies and creates computer
aided engineering definitions
- Provides expertise and counsel in areas of engineering
definition requirements and supporting procedures. tools.
- Interact with design agencies, suppliers, and internal
organizations to assist in resolving design development,
production, and final design
- Consults with engineering shop, inspection, and manufacturing
personnel to verify reliability of design
- Coordinates activities and provides training to lower designer
classifications.
- Recommends and implements process improvements to increase
technical productivity and effectiveness within the
organization
- Conducts assigned research or development and works on the most
complex/difficult projects/tasks
- Ability to multi-task several Programs/Projects and prioritize
all task accordingly to meet or exceed deadlines
- Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in
accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the
protection of employees, the public, and the environment.
- Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition
or action is identified. Every employee has the right and
responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are
identified
You Must Have:
- US Citizenship to obtain US Dept of Energy ""Q"" level security
clearance
- 5 or more years of in mechanical design or equivalent
experience.
- Experience with CREO or SOLIDWORKS
- Experience in manufacturing processes that can affect the
design or modify design intent
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer-aided design tools,
advanced design skills, thorough knowledge of procedures and
products acquired through technical training and/or a BST or BS
degree in appropriate field or equivalent training and
experience
- Ability to evaluate and improve methods/ processes, and
recognize alternative possibilities for projects and recommend best
choice(s)
- Ability to understand the scope of technical problems and
develop solutions with little or no guidance from others
- High School Diploma or GED
