The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our facilities. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems. - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring effective resolution. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including detailed reports on repairs and replacements. - Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and resolve technical challenges. - Assist in monitoring and managing inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities. - Participate in on-call rotation to address after-hours maintenance issues. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus. - Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a residential or commercial setting. - Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents and staff. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
