Summary:The HR Director is responsible for broad strategic
planning, as well as tactical execution, of company-wide people
initiatives. This role reports to the CEO and will act as a
strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. The HR
Director must ensure that Verdes' people operations goals,
policies, procedures, and programs support the organization's
mission, values, culture, and strategic planks. This role will also
ensure regulatory compliance, adherence to local, state, and
federal employment laws, and reinforce a safe environment for all
Verdes' employees. Reinforcing a safe environment requires
successful development, implementation, and outcomes related to
diversity, equity, inclusion, and access across the
organization.Responsibilities/Essential
Functions:--------------Build and cultivate the strongest team in
the industry including but not limited to benefits administration,
compensation planning, performance metrics, recruiting,
professional development, and reporting--------------Direct
supervision and leadership of Verdes' HR department, the HR
Generalist, and other employees as assigned, including
accountability for project outcomes, deliverables, and
KPIs--------------In partnership with executive leadership team,
develop and implement people operations strategies including but
not limited to recruiting, on-boarding, professional development,
training, and performance management--------------Reinforce Verdes'
values to strengthen the culture through diversity, equity,
inclusion, and access--------------Ensure a best-in-class employee
experience--------------Manage employee relations issues and
develop an approach resulting in win-win solutions, when necessary,
and accountability--------------Develop and administer Verdes'
total compensation philosophy and strategy including but not
limited to benefits program(s) and bonuses--------------Develop and
administer Verdes' internal and external employer
brand--------------Must stay up to date with, and enforce evolving
employment laws, legislation, regulatory compliance, including
federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to
personnel--------------Strong knowledge of employment law to
provide prompt and accurate guidance to managers and executive team
members--------------Act as a strategic partner to the Safety &
Security Committee and reinforce a culture of
safety--------------Management of COVID related policies,
procedures, updates, and adherence to CDC
Guidelines--------------Manage vendor relationships as they pertain
to benefits, HR technology, legal, and other as business needs
determine--------------Ensure accurate, on-time delivery of payroll
in partnership with HR and Finance teams--------------Perform
administrative duties related to documentation, scheduling, audits,
communication, and other as needed--------------Other duties as
assignedComputer/Technical Responsibilities: --------------Office
365, SharePoint, and One Drive--------------HRIS

general office IT issuesQualifications and Educational
Requirements:--------------At least 7 years proven experience &
progressive responsibility in Human Resources--------------At least
five years of Human Resources leadership and department
oversight--------------Knowledge of all NM and Federal employment
laws--------------Previous experience managing
employees--------------HRIS knowledge & familiarity, preferably
Wurk (UKG product)--------------Benefits
