Type of Opportunity: Full Time FTE: 1.****** Exempt: Yes Work Schedule: Days Summary Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Responsibilities Responsibilities Provides advanced support for definition/refinement of business requirements and for quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts Designs, develops, tests and debugs software components of moderate to high complexity Provides implementation, production and upgrade support for software components of moderate to high complexity May act as supporting liaison between the application team and the user community, responsible for facilitating communications, coordinating system enhancements, and providing production support. Works with user community to define business requirements in sufficient detail and define business use cases that systems configuration, development/ enhancement, and/or Operations activities can be pursued. Manages the development of user and technical documentation according to department standards. Qualifications Other information: Bachelor s degree in related technical/business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree Essential Education: Bachelor Degree Essential Education specialization: Information Technology Preferred_Qualifications * Ensure optimal technical operation, maintenance and support of the enterprise Linux/ Unix infrastructure environment * Recommend and execute Linux/Unix server hardware and software configuration, installation, patching, integration, upgrades and performance tuning. * Support daily operations to Weblogic and Linux/Unix server such as capacity management, performance monitoring, provisioning, and network systems connectivity. * Oracle WebLogic Administration: Must have experience installing, monitoring, configuring and troubleshooting WebLogic & SOA environments. Troubleshooting JAR, EAR, WAR files and Troubleshooting WebCenter portal issues. * Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment * Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks and integrate solutions. * Experience creating and updating technical documentation * Execute reports related to middleware technologies and environments * Team player attitude; ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner. * Participate in meetings with technical staff to discuss issues in plans and strategies. * Knowledge of infrastructure / network components or all Production issues encountered during the shift and on call. * Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report periodically on progress against plans for remaining current and supportable externally. * Review error logs and alerts while providing proactive solutions * In depth knowledge and experience with Linux/Unix infrastructure * Strong Oracle Weblogic Administration experience * Experience with Redhat 5.9 and above, including CentOS * Strong problem solving and communication skills * Must be efficient enough with all internet services including DNS, NTP, POSTFIX, SFTP; * Experienced in the following programming languages: Java, SDK, BASH and PowerShell * Experience with Network and Storage protocols TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, NFS and SMB; * Healthcare experience * ITIL Experience * Some Oracle/SQL server DB knowledge * Strong knowledge of IIS, Apache/Karaf and SDLC - Agile * On call support Nonessential Competencies and skills: SKILL-Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data SKILL-Microsoft Office Planning and coordinating organizational change Anticipating & Addressing Customer Needs Functioning as an Effective Contingent Member Acquiring & Applying Superior Skills to achieve Quality Outcomes Functioning as an Effective Team Member SKILL-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
