Quality professional supporting the Air & Commercial Solutions
(ACS) market segment for Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary & Mission
Systems (RMS) company at Kirtland AFB, NMThis position will
interact directly with the site Quality Lead and functionally
report to the ACS Quality ManagerThis position requires the ability
to work independently, communicating effectively to senior
leadership, and display range of advance Quality Engineering
skillsCurrently, this positions is supporting two different
programs (with the potential for more), and the desired candidate
must have the ability to agile enough to handle the different
baselines and customer needsThis position will require occasional
business travel (-10-30%)Responsibilities include (but not limited
to):
--- Lead in the identification of root causes and associated
corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance (via
internal audit), lead continuous improvement efforts, and
participate/interface with the engineering community and customer
(as the need arises) on program activities to assure processes and
products are compliant to contractual requirements
--- Provide QA support for program peer reviews (software &
courseware), regression testing, integration & test, and functional
sell-off
--- Assist Site QA Lead with monthly inputs/metrics on the quality
health of the program
--- Lead in quality efforts as an engaged member of the program's
change control process boards (ERC/CRB/CCB)
--- Support security/information assurance activities, as the need
arises
--- Support/coordinate installation of supplier-provided training
devices at customer sites
Basic Qualifications:
--- Proven project and self-management skills/experience
--- Comfortable reviewing engineering drawings & process
diagrams
--- Demonstrated leadership potential
--- Experienced performing a range of Root Cause Analysis
methodologies
--- Excellent communication/written skills
--- Knowledgeable in AS9100, ISO 9001 and/or CMMI
--- Product and Process Auditor experience
--- Able to obtain an interim secret clearance required prior to
start
Desired Skills:
--- Experience working with a military customer --- Understanding
of Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles; or posses a LSS Green or Black
Belt
--- Knowledgeable of courseware development and review process
--- Knowledgeable of Instructional System Design (ISD), SW/HW
engineering practices, logistics, IT infrastructure and Information
Assurance principles, configuration management, test and
evaluation
--- Prior experience leading a technical team (engineering or QA)
on complex projects
--- Experience in USAF aircrew training operations and student
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
