Founded in New Mexico in 1908, we are the state's largest private employer with nearly 14,000 employees.As a Congenital Cardiac Sonographer at Presbyterian, you'll be on the front lines of diagnosis and management of fetuses, children, and adults with congenital heart disease.The Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology program at Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS) is the state leader in congenital heart disease - performing more than 250 congenital cardiac surgeries and interventional cardiac catheterizations each year (and growing).The program provides comprehensive surgical, interventional, and ambulatory care to patients with all forms of congenital heart disease. Once remodels to existing buildings are complete, Presbyterian Hospital will have a 600 private room capacity - the largest in New Mexico.What you'll do:Pediatric Echo Techs at PHS frequently: - Provide the initial diagnostic assessment of patients with undiagnosed congenital heart disease. - Work with physicians to ensure each patient receives a comprehensive echocardiogram. - Participate in all OR and Cath Lab imaging - in addition to providing inpatient echocardiograms and clinic-based echocardiograms.In addition to competitive base compensation, we're currently offering sign-on bonus of up to $20,000, based on experience plus relocation assistance of up to $6,000 for qualifying candidates.Text a recruiter and schedule a time to chat at 505-560-1367.Responsibilities:Qualifications:The Presbyterian Echocardiography team offers a tier-based compensation system and natural progressions for advancement. The below qualifications highlight requirements for a level I position, however level I, II, and III positions are available.Minimum Qualifications: - At least one (1) years of experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound. - Graduate of a two (2) year Allied Health Training Program in Ultrasound Technology -OR-Graduate of Bachelor's program in health science (including, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology,respiratory therapy, or nursing) - New Mexico State Licensure under the New Mexico Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program (NMRTT) required. - RDCS PE (peds echo) / RCCS (cardiac congenital)-OR- RDCS AE (Adult) / RCS (adults echo) AND Must pass registry exam for ARDMS PE / CCI RCCS within 18 months of hire. - Current BLS required.Preferred Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited program in cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) - ACS - Fetal echo experience - Ability to scan premature babies in the NICUBenefits:We offer more than the standard benefits!Presbyterian employees gain access to a robust wellness program, including free access to our on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, wellness challenges and more!Learn more about our employee benefits:https://www.phs.org/careers/why-work-with-us/benefitsWhy work at Presbyterian?As an organization, we are committed to improving the health of our communities.
