911 emergency response for patients to regional hospitals as well
as emergent and non-emergent inter-facility transportation.Shift
Differentials:$2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential, permanent,
earned on all hours worked$5.00/hr Night Differential, earned on
eligible night hours, stacks on base rate$3.00/hr Weekend
Differential, earned on eligible weekend hours, stacks on base

from you!Qualifications:High school/GEDCurrent New Mexico driver's
license is required without relevant restrictions.Must be at least
18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian
policyMust possess and maintain a State of New Mexico Paramedic
certification in good standingMust maintain all required
certifications (i.e., ACLS, BLS)Must be up to date with FEMA 100,
200, 700 coursesAbility to perform CPR and all skills associated
with paramedic licensureEMT experience preferredMust pass physical
abilities assessmentMust obtain medical examiner certification/DOT
certification as part of on-boarding and
maintain.Responsibilities:Provides prehospital emergency care and
transportation for injured and/or ill patients.Delivers care
utilizing standing guidelines and on-line medical
direction.Administers medications and performs ALS level
interventions and treatments as allowable per the NM State scope of
practice, local guidelines, medical direction, and organizational
policies.Documents and maintains informative and accurate medical
records for patient encounters through use of current computerized
patient documentation system.Operates emergency vehicles in a safe
manner, consistent with EVOC and defensive driving
techniques.Adheres to Presbyterian standards for professionalism
and compassionate care.Maintains positive communications and
collaboration with Emergency Department physicians and
staff.Maintains current working knowledge and certification in
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS).Assists in the instruction of emergency medical
services (EMS) students to provide for positive work-related
experiences.Attendance at departmental staff meetings and/or
in-service educational programs while keeping current with
developments in the field through participation in seminars,
workshops and/or publications.Proactively utilizes best practices
to minimize response and drop times.Performs other duties as

Maximum Offer for this position is up to: USD $34.27/Hr.
